MASTER OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Purpose and Goals
The purpose of the Master of Christian Education (MCE) is to equip men and women with a high degree of competence in Christian education and leadership. This degree program is designed to prepare students for a variety of educational and leadership roles in churches, Christian schools, and similar institutions. The MCE degree requires 45 semester credits which may be completed within two years of full-time study. Student learning includes a biblical and theological framework for and practical knowledge of Christian education and leadership.
Program Learning Outcomes
All students in the MCE program work toward achieving these learning outcomes:
- Develop a sufficient biblical and theological framework to provide effective educational and leadership roles.
- Apply the principles of spiritual development in their personal and professional life.
- Research and analyze the major educational and leadership methods and practices from a Christian perspective.
- Apply practical educational and leadership skills within a Christian context.
Program Requirements
- All students must hold an accredited bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- All students must complete at least 45 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- All students must complete supervised practicum in education and leadership.

MASTER OF DIVINITY
Purpose and Goals
The purpose of the Master of Divinity (MDiv) is to enable students to develop their pastoral leadership and skills so as to serve congregations as ordained minsters, evangelists, and missionaries. The MDiv degree requires a minimum of 87 semester credits, which may be completed within three years of full-time study. Student learning includes biblical and theological studies, pastoral studies, and practicum.
Program Learning Outcomes
By the completion of the MDiv the student will be able to
- Interpret the Bible in its diverse contexts (historical, cultural, literary).
- Think theologically on contemporary issues based on the evangelical tradition.
- Communicate the Word of God in diverse social and cultural contexts.
- Practice spiritual disciplines for their own formation and to develop congregations.
- Master core ministry skills needed in serving congregations.

MASTER OF MISSIOLOGY
Purpose and Goals
The purpose of the Master of Missiology (MMiss) is to equip men and women with a high degree of competence in intercultural ministry and leadership. This degree program is designed to provide training for missionaries, mission pastors, lay mission leaders and those who want to explore Christian global engagement. The MMiss degree requires 45 semester credits which may be completed within two years of full-time study. Student learning includes both a biblical and theological framework and practical skills necessary for effective contextual ministry and leadership as well as a deep exploration of Christian global engagement.

- Apply the principles of spiritual development in their personal and professional life.
